Well ♥♥♥♥ me, what an ignorant statment to make. I swear that people make up piddly little ♥♥♥♥ to cry about out of simple boredom. HDR doesn't provide any sort of 'night and day' improvement over non-HDR, and if you think it does, you've been suckered by the marketing hype. Without HDR there is missing color, you either can see clearly or you can't, with HDR you can see in between dark and bright. It expands colors many times,you can see colors which you can't see with HDR off, the bright spots like sun are blinding how bright it is and dark places are not black like it normally would be, you can see the details in dark places because of color expansion you can actually see what is in those dark spots, corners or shadows. It makes a bigger difference than jumping from 1080p to 4K because it changes literally how the game looks.
